Got this one on the way to Leh from Kargil . Apart from the beauty of contrast .... so to say

I wondered why the helmet was there .... couldn't find any doors to reach it (even outside the frame)

It just hung there like a symbol of safety may be, or symbol of trust that except for the owner no one would ever pick it up..

Simple are the people who live in these parts.
